EN 166 grade B: the highest impact level in the range. On a mask, the standard applies to the frame and lens together.
What Grade B tests
A 6mm steel ball launched at 432 km/h, or 120 m/s. This is medium-energy impact.
For comparison: grade F, worn by most of the brand's glasses, tests the same ball at 162 km/h. Grade B withstands almost three times that speed.
Two lenses supplied
Smoked for daytime, clear for night and indoors. They can be swapped depending on light and weather conditions.
Spear or Spear Dual
The Spear Dual treats fog differently: instead of a coating, it uses a double-layer lens separated by an air gap, which eliminates the cold surface on which condensation forms. It comes with three lenses instead of two.
Both are night vision compatible and EN 166 B certified. If fogging is your main constraint, the price difference is justified; otherwise, this model provides the same protective work.
The facial cavity seal
It blocks dirt, dust, and peripheral light – the light that comes from the side and ruins contrast.
Night vision compatible
The geometry provides space for a helmet-mounted device.
The lens and its coating
Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut, then heat-formed. The hard coating resists scratches and fogging.
The frame
Reinforced Triloid nylon, injection-moulded, anatomically shaped for prolonged wear. Lightweight and highly resistant.
