EN 166 Grade B on temples glasses. This is unusual: this grade is mostly found on masks. This is the Nerve's main selling point.

What Grade B represents

The European standard tests a 6 mm steel ball launched at 432 km/h, or 120 m/s - the medium energy impact, and it applies to the frame and lens together.

For comparison, Grade F, which most of the brand's glasses have, tests the same ball at 162 km/h. The Nerve withstands nearly three times that speed, in a format that remains that of a pair of glasses.

The facial cavity seal

It closes the space between the frame and the face: it blocks dirt, dust, and peripheral light - the light that comes from the side and ruins contrast.

This also explains Grade B: without this closed perimeter, temple glasses would not achieve this level.

Smoked lens, VLT 15%

Fifteen percent transmission: a daylight lens. The smoked lens absorbs the spectrum uniformly, so colors are perceived at their true value and reflections are eliminated.

The lens and frame

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut and then thermoformed, with hard coating resistant to scratches and fogging. Reinforced Triloid nylon frame, anatomically shaped.
