The Field version of the pistol magazine pouch, in IR-treated PL Woodland camouflage. Box structure that retains its shape even when empty, hook-and-loop flap with a non-slip grip, detachable for use in an open configuration with an elastic cord, and a reinforced front that facilitates insertion and extraction. MOLLE/PALS compatible modular mounting system. Field items in PL Woodland camouflage are NIR-treated, also known as IRR: visible fabrics and components are chosen to absorb, reflect, and transmit near-infrared radiation in the same way as undergrowth, which reduces silhouette contrast under a night vision device. Each material is checked with a spectrophotometer in the lab and in the field.
