Nebo Leo Flex - rechargeable zoom flashlight, 1800 to 12,000 lm

The Nebo Leo Flex is an aluminum flashlight with a zoomable head, available in six power levels: from the 1800, which fits in a jacket pocket, to the 12000, which illuminates an entire field.

They all feature the Flex-Power system: they run on their USB-C rechargeable Li-ion battery, or on alkaline batteries using the included adapter when the battery is empty and you are far from an outlet.

Five modes, from boost to strobe

Each Leo Flex offers a boost mode, three power levels, and a strobe mode. The Direct-to-Low function turns the light on at the lowest setting to avoid blinding you at night, and the Smart Power Control (SPC) adjusts the power to achieve the stated runtime. The PowerSave lock prevents it from turning on in your bag.

The zoom changes the beam from wide, for illuminating your surroundings, to narrow and long-range: 6x on the 1800, 3x on the 3200 to 10000, and 2x on the 12000.

Which power level should you choose?

The 1800 (232 g, 17.9 cm) is the most versatile, with a magnetic base and up to 20 hours on its lowest setting. The 3200 and 5000 (23 and 24 cm) are suitable for night hiking, camping, and vehicles; the 5000 lasts up to 24 hours on low power.

The 7500, 10000, and 12000 (635 to 680 g) are search and work lights: 5000 mAh 7.4 V battery, 250 to 290 m range in boost mode, for a construction site, farm, emergency vehicle, or outdoor search.

Rugged

The aircraft-grade aluminum body is shock-resistant, and the entire unit is IPX7 waterproof (temporary immersion). A charge indicator on the side button shows the remaining battery life.
