The Field version of the Guardian administrative pouch, in IR-treated PL Woodland camouflage. It retains all its organization: hook-and-loop adapter for a communication phone, transparent sleeves for maps and notes, a flat pocket for a notebook or compass, an elastic loop for a marker, and a zipper that fully opens the compartment for working flat. Field items, in PL Woodland camouflage, are NIR-treated, also known as IRR: visible fabrics and components are chosen to absorb, reflect, and transmit near-infrared radiation in the same way as undergrowth, which reduces the silhouette's contrast under a night vision device. Each material is checked with a spectrophotometer in the laboratory and in the field.
