The EDC Lite follows the concept of Helikon's EDC bag while shedding weight: 579 grams for 21 liters. Two compartments, no pockets, no forced organization. The front compartment is lined with hook-and-loop Velcro and accepts Versatile Insert System inserts, allowing you to create the layout you actually need rather than being stuck with the manufacturer's. The exterior is deliberately minimalist: a hook-and-loop panel for identification and an elastic cord that holds a light jacket. Ripstop nylon with a DWR water-repellent treatment.
