Earmor M51 Tactical PTT Kenwood
The radio stays in your pocket; the button comes to your hand. That is all a remote PTT does, and it is what transforms field radio communication.
What it replaces
Without it, you have to take the radio out for every transmission: finding it, holding it, putting it away. The M51 connects between your active or communication headset and the portable radio. You press, you speak, you release.
The connector
Version with Kenwood connector. Pinouts are not interchangeable between brands: check your radio's jack before ordering.
Mounting
A loop allows you to place it wherever you want on your gear—shoulder strap, webbing, belt. It is the placement of the button that makes the difference, not the button itself: it should fall right to hand without you having to search for it.
Construction
Polymers and metal alloys, compact size. A PTT takes hits, gets crushed against walls, and drags through the mud: the construction is built for it.
A complement to field communication setups.
