Clawgear
Clawgear Finland Flag Patch
This is the clearest patch in the series. A blue cross on a white background: the pale color covers almost the entire surface, which makes it a unique case in use.
A large light surface gets dirty
This is the real constraint of this flag. A dark patch forgives dust and marks; a predominantly white patch shows them all.
Hence the interest of the process: flat woven, without embroidered relief, it has no hollows where dust collects nor protruding threads that catch dirt. The surface cleans with a single pass. A white embroidery, on the other hand, takes on relief, gets loaded in the interstices, and eventually yellows.
And the Velcro helps
The patch is removed before washing the garment, then reattached. It can be cleaned alone, flat, without subjecting the whole to a machine cycle.
An offset Nordic cross
As with other Scandinavian flags, the vertical arm is offset towards the hoist. The ratio between the four fields must be kept exact - the high-resolution weaving places the lines thread by thread.
Three versions
Multicolor, Desert and RAL7013. The two discreet treatments effectively remove the constraint of white.
