Technical improvements made to model 3.1
- The Cordura® Ripstop fabric used retains the same weight as standard Cordura® 500D, while offering increased resistance: +50% to tearing, but also better resistance to abrasion and traction.
- The bag's color has evolved to Camouflage Green 483 (v3.1), originally designed for the US Army. This lighter green, less glossy than OD Green, blends more naturally into varied environments and is closer to the green used in the French Army's Central European camouflage.
- Infrared treatment has also been enhanced: the performance observed with a FLIR camera or night vision goggles is significantly superior to that of the OD Green color.
- Additional elements such as loops and hook and loop fasteners (Velcro®) have been harmonized with the new color and also benefit from IR treatment.
- Finally, the MOLLE loops on the front of the bag are now laser-cut, allowing for a cleaner design and reduced weight.
Composed of three technical layers – one for colour and IR treatment, one for structure, and one for resistance – these loops have a pull-out resistance of more than 54 kg.
