Large button compass
Ships within 5 to 8 business days.
The button compass is the ultimate emergency compass: the one you never take out, until the day the electronics fail. This Large model can be sewn, glued, or slipped into a jacket pocket, and does just one thing: point north. The case is filled with liquid, which dampens the needle and prevents it from swinging indefinitely with every wrist movement. The dial is phosphorescent: after exposure to light, it remains readable in the dark, without a flashlight and therefore without giving away your position. It naturally belongs in a survival kit, alongside a whistle and purification tablets.
Highlights
- Phosphorescent dial: readable at night after exposure to light, without turning on a flashlight
- Liquid-dampened: the needle stabilizes quickly instead of swinging with every movement
- Emergency format: designed to stay permanently in a pocket or kit, not for precise navigation
