Z-Tactical
Z-Tactical PTT Kenwood Connector
One button, and the radio stays put. The remote PTT is the least expensive part of the chain, and the one that changes usage the most.
The MIC-K1L plug
This is the exact part number for the connector: the manufacturer lists this unit for compatible Kenwood radios and for any device equipped with a MIC-K1L plug.
Having a precise designation rather than a brand name makes purchasing much easier: simply check the socket type on your radio.
How it works
The module is placed between the transmitter and the headset. The radio transmits as long as the button is pressed and switches back to listening mode when released.
Why use a remote
Because you don't take out a radio when your hands are full. The button is placed where it naturally falls under your finger, and the unit remains protected.
Compatible with Z-Tactical earpieces and headsets.
