Comm temples are the raison d'être of this model. They are designed to be worn with communication headsets or hearing protection – the very issue that causes most glasses to fail in operational use.

The problem it solves

An ordinary glasses temple passes under an earcup and breaks the acoustic seal. This has two consequences: attenuation drops, and the temple creates a pressure point that becomes painful in less than an hour.

Comm temples are profiled to pass through without breaking the earcup's seal.

2.5 mm lenses

This thickness is explicitly stated, which is rare. In ballistic lenses, thickness is what provides impact resistance – not the surface treatment.

Three ballistic lenses included

Clear for night and indoor use, smoke for full daylight, rust for intermediate light conditions. They are mounted separately depending on the time and conditions.

Buying three lenses separately would cost significantly more than this complete set.

The facial cavity seal

It blocks dirt, dust, and peripheral light – the light that comes from the side and ruins contrast.

The lens and its coating

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut, then hot-formed. The hard coating resists scratches and fogging.

This is a real difference from the brand's Captivate sunwear range, which features an oleophobic and anti-reflective treatment but no anti-fog. Here, fogging was prioritized.
