Two lenses included: day and night originally covered. This is what differentiates this model from the Valor sold with only the smoked lens.

The two lenses

Smoked for daylight - a neutral gray that reduces brightness without shifting colors.
Clear for night, indoors, and overcast conditions - protection without loss of brightness.

They can be swapped depending on the time and weather. Between the two, you're covered from dawn to dusk without needing to carry a second pair.

A half-frame

The frame only goes around the top of the lens: the bottom remains unobstructed. The downward field of vision is not cut off by any edge - useful when checking your footing or handling things at waist height.

In return, the peripheral protection is less enclosed than with a wraparound frame with a facial cavity.

2.5 mm lenses

An explicitly stated thickness, which is rare. On a ballistic lens, it is the thickness that provides impact resistance - not the surface treatment.

The lens and the frame

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, hard coating resistant to scratches and fog. Frame and temples reinforced with Triloid nylon, rubberized elements at the temple tips.

Standards declared by the manufacturer

ANSI Z87.1+ and MIL-PRF-32432A, which tests a .15 caliber projectile launched at 702 to 724 km/h.
