The simple smoked glass Grid, non-polarized. This is the direct version of the model - and the cheapest.

Polarized or not

The Grid Captivate Polarized Grey offers the same 15% VLT with an added polarizing filter, which eliminates light reflected from flat surfaces - water, hood, glass, wet road.

If you drive, navigate, or work near reflective surfaces, polarization is worth the price difference. Otherwise, this version does the same filtering work without it.

Smoked glass, 15% VLT

Fifteen percent transmission: a daytime lens. The smoked tint absorbs the spectrum evenly, so colors are perceived at their true value.

The lens and its coating

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut, then hot-formed. The hard coating resists scratches and fogging.

This is a real difference from the brand's Captivate solar range, which receives an oleophobic and anti-reflective treatment but no anti-fog. Here, fogging has been prioritized.

The frame

Reinforced injection-molded Triloid nylon frame and temples, anatomically shaped for prolonged wear. Lightweight and very resistant.

Rubber elements at the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip.

ANSI Z87.1+ and EN 166 F, grade F for low-energy impact tested at 45 m/s.
