When transparency is essential

At night, indoors, in a workshop, under cover, or at an indoor range. In these conditions, even a slight tint becomes a hindrance: it removes information instead of providing it.

It's also the default lens to leave mounted when you don't know what's coming next – it doesn't bother you during the day and becomes indispensable at night.

Why anti-fog matters more here

On a clear lens, fog is immediately visible: there's no tint to mask it. The fog-resistant coating is therefore particularly useful on this version.

Clear or tinted

The Grid Grey offers the same model with a tinted lens at VLT 15%, for broad daylight. Many people own both and switch depending on the time of day.

The lens and its coating

Unbreakable, extruded Selenite polycarbonate, cut and then thermoformed. The hard coating resists scratches and fog.

This is a real difference compared to the brand's Captivate sunglass range, which receives an oleophobic and anti-reflective treatment but no anti-fog. Here, fog has been prioritized.

The frame

Reinforced injection-molded Triloid nylon frame and temples, anatomically shaped for extended wear. Lightweight and very durable.

Rubber elements at the temple tips reduce fatigue and increase grip.

ANSI Z87.1+ and EN 166 F, grade F for low-energy impact tested at 45 m/s.
