Wiley X Saber Elastic Strap

It replaces the temples, it does not add to them. The headband attaches via slots on the earpieces and transforms the Saber into glasses without temples.

Why remove the temples

A glasses temple is the point of conflict with anything worn on the head: helmet, hearing protection, communication headset. It passes under the shell, breaks the acoustic seal, and creates a pressure point that becomes painful.

Without temples, the problem disappears entirely. The glasses are held by the strap, which passes behind the head above or below the shells.
