82% transmission: yellow barely darkens. Only seven points separate it from clear glass, which is 89%. This is not a sunshade.

It's a contrast screen

When the light is flat – dawn, dusk, fog, overcast sky, undergrowth – reliefs merge into a uniform grey. The yellow filter separates the planes and highlights terrain breaks, without removing brightness where it is already lacking.

This is exactly the opposite of the need met by a smoked lens.

Where it fits in the range

Clear 89% - night and low light.
Yellow 82% (this one) - flat light, contrast.
Orange 53% - medium light.
Smoked 15% - full daylight.

The nose adapts to all morphologies

The nose bridge has a 360-degree adjustable metal core. You can manually deform it to adjust it exactly to your nose - and it keeps the given shape.

On rimless glasses, the nose bears all the support. A fixed nose bridge that doesn't fit properly makes the glasses unusable; this one eliminates the problem.

Night vision compatible

The low profile allows for a night vision device. This is rare at this price point.

Rimless, with a foam bar

No frame around the lens: the field of vision is not cut off by any edges. A foam bar runs along the top of the lens to prevent solid objects from passing over it.

Interchangeable lenses

Lenses can be changed to adapt to the light. The entire range is compatible: clear 89%, yellow 82%, orange 53%, smoked 15%.

Construction

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut, then thermoformed, with T-Shell anti-scratch coating. Temples and earpieces in reinforced Triloid nylon, rubberized elements for extended comfort.

100% HEV, UVA, and UVB protection - HEV refers to the high-energy blue-violet band of the visible spectrum, which few glasses filter.

Standards declared by the manufacturer

ANSI Z87.1+, MIL-PRF-32432 and EN 166 F.

To put these last two into perspective: EN 166 F tests a 6 mm, 0.86 g steel ball launched at 162 km/h. MIL-PRF-32432 tests a .15 caliber projectile at 702 to 724 km/h. The military specification is of a completely different order.
