A grey that doesn't lie about colors

The smoke tint absorbs the spectrum uniformly: it reduces the amount of light without favoring a particular wavelength. Colors are perceived accurately and reflections are eliminated.

This makes it the versatile daytime lens, the one you leave on during the day without a second thought.

The entire range scale

Clear 89% - night and low light.
Yellow 82% - flat light, contrast.
Orange 53% - medium light.
Smoke 15% (this one) - daylight.

If you're starting from scratch, the three-lens kit is cheaper than two lenses purchased separately.

The nose bridge adapts to all morphologies

The nose pad has a 360-degree adjustable metal core. You can mold it by hand to precisely fit your nose - and it retains the shape given.

On rimless glasses, the nose bridge provides all the support. A fixed nose pad that doesn't fit correctly makes the glasses unusable; this one eliminates the problem.

Night vision compatible

The low profile allows space for a night vision device. This is rare at this price point.

Rimless, with a foam bar

No frame around the lens: the field of vision is not cut by any edge. A foam bar runs along the top of the lens to prevent solid objects from passing over it.

Interchangeable lenses

The lenses can be changed to adapt to the light. The entire range is compatible: clear 89%, yellow 82%, orange 53%, smoke 15%.

Construction

Unbreakable Selenite polycarbonate, extruded, cut and then heat-formed, with T-Shell anti-scratch coating. Reinforced Triloid nylon temples and tips, rubberized elements for extended comfort.

100% HEV, UVA, and UVB protection - HEV refers to the high-energy blue-violet band of the visible spectrum, which few glasses filter.

Standards declared by the manufacturer

ANSI Z87.1+, MIL-PRF-32432 and EN 166 F.

To put the latter two into perspective: EN 166 F tests a 6mm, 0.86g steel ball launched at 162 km/h. MIL-PRF-32432 tests a .15 caliber projectile at 702 to 724 km/h. The military specification is of a different order entirely.
