Wiley X Detection Lens

These are replacement lenses, not a pair of glasses. They replace original lenses that are lost, misplaced, or damaged.

Five available tints

Clear, yellow, orange, purple, and copper. Each is chosen based on the daylight and the background against which the target is set.

Yellow, the best-documented tint

The manufacturer designed it for bad weather and low light conditions, when focusing on the target and contrast become an issue. It is a contrast lens, not a sun lens.

Why change lenses rather than glasses

In a shooting discipline, the tint is chosen based on the day's conditions. Replacing a lens costs a fraction of the price of a second pair, and the Detection frame is designed for quick changes.
