WADSN DBAL-A2 Illuminator without Laser

The silhouette of the DBAL-A2, with a real light inside. Unlike the dummy model of the same name, this one actually lights up.

What it does, and what it doesn't do

It shines a white light, up to 160 lumens. It has neither a laser nor an infrared illuminator: this specific model is explicitly the version without a laser, and therefore it offers no utility for night vision.

The modes

Three customizable lighting modes, including constant and strobe.

The housing

Injection-molded polymers. This is what accounts for the price and weight: on a replica, the module is used as much for the look of the setup as it is for the light.
