Vector Optics Paragon 6x25 Gen 2 Laser Range Finder
It measures the distance, it does not estimate it. That is the difference between a laser rangefinder and even the most experienced eye: the number appears in a second, and it does not depend on the terrain.
How it works
The device sends a laser pulse toward the target and measures the time it takes to return. The value appears in the viewfinder, with no calculation or manipulation required.
Aiming
6x magnification on a 25 mm objective lens. The 6x is used to place the reticle precisely on what you want to measure: any higher, and aiming at a narrow target handheld becomes difficult; any lower, and you can no longer distinguish what you are aiming at.
A 25 mm objective lens is a choice of compactness: it is what allows the device to fit in a pocket.
Usage
Immediate ease of use, a single control, a single piece of information to read. A rangefinder is used at the moment when you do not have time to think.
What we cannot tell you
The manufacturer does not disclose either the maximum range or the measurement tolerance for this item, and we will not make them up. If these two numbers are deciding factors for your choice, contact us before ordering: we will request them for you.
