The LVL 2 is the first layer for truly cold days. Denser than the LVL 1 with its 220 g/m², it blends polyester and elastane: it continues to insulate even when wet, and it follows the body instead of restricting it. The zippered stand-up collar acts as a regulator, opening it when ascending and closing it when stopped. The thumbholes prevent the sleeves from riding up when putting on or taking off gloves – a detail you only notice when it's missing. The close-fitting cut accelerates moisture wicking.
