Front Runner
Board and watercraft rack
A board placed directly on the bars wears down at the contact points and slides at the first brake application. These four supports each handle a specific case: surfboards, windsurf boards, or paddleboards laid flat with width adjustment and protective cushions; the same carried vertically to free up space for a rooftop tent; canoes or kayaks with multiple mounting angles; and long items like skis, snowboards, and fishing rods in 30 mm rubber clamps.
Highlights
- Four uses: board flat or vertical, watercraft, long equipment
- Vertical position frees up the roof rack: space remains available for a rooftop tent
- Protected contact points: cushions and rubber clamps, no metal-on-metal contact
- Designed for trails: clamping system intended for rough roads, not just highways
