Forty-two liters for 1.18 kilos: the Summit targets modern hiking, where every gram is debated. Everything that was not essential has been removed. The main compartment opens in two ways, via the rolltop collar or the vertical zip on the front, which avoids emptying everything to reach the bottom of the bag. Two elastic mesh pockets on the sides hold a bottle or a light jacket, and the elastic mesh beavertail carries a helmet or a large winter jacket. The contoured hip belt has two zippered mesh pockets, accessible without removing the bag. The 10mm MOLLE Lite webbing on the sides still accepts standard MOLLE/PALS pouches.
