Forty-two liters for 1.18 kilos: the Summit is designed for modern hiking, where every gram counts. Anything non-essential has been removed. The main compartment opens in two ways: via the rolltop collar or the vertical front zipper, which avoids having to empty everything out to reach the bottom of the bag. Two elastic mesh side pockets hold a bottle or a light jacket, and the elastic mesh beavertail carries a helmet or a bulky winter jacket. The contoured hip belt features two zippered mesh pockets, accessible without taking off the pack. The 10mm MOLLE Lite side webbing still accepts standard MOLLE/PALS pouches.
