It accepts a CR123A battery or a simple AA battery. This is the crucial feature: wherever you are, you'll find a way to power it.

What dual-fuel capability really changes

A CR123A lithium battery can be found in gun stores or online, rarely elsewhere. A AA battery can be found in any gas station, grocery store, or supermarket in the world.

In return, the AA delivers less: 150 lumens versus 350. The light remains usable, at reduced performance – which is infinitely better than a dead light.

Note: with AA, lithium triples the runtime of alkaline at high power.

Lumens and candela: two different things

Lumens measure the total amount of light emitted. Candela measure its intensity at the center of the beam – this value determines the range.

Two lights with the same lumen output can have very different ranges depending on how the beam is focused. This is why both numbers are provided here.

The format

80 grams and 108 mm: it disappears into a pocket or belt pouch. CNC-machined body in matte black anodized aluminum.

The anti-roll head

Pointed, it prevents the light from rolling on an uneven surface – and helps dissipate heat.

The TEN-TAP programmer

The TEN-TAP system allows you to choose the sequence of modes triggered by the switch. You can directly access high power, or, conversely, remove the strobe if you never use it.

This is the detail that prevents you from cycling through three unnecessary modes before getting the one you need.

Water resistance

IPX7: waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Shock resistance tested at 2 meters. Multi-layer anti-scratch treated lens.
