Sordin Supreme Pro-X Neckband

A neckband instead of a headband: it's designed to fit under a helmet. That is the sole reason for this version's existence, and it is a good one.

Why the neckband

A standard headband conflicts with the shell of a modern combat helmet: it either pushes the helmet up or compresses the skull. The low-profile neckband sits behind the head, allowing the helmet to sit properly.

The ear cups

Compact and low-profile, designed for ambidextrous use—their slanted lower section clears the stock regardless of which shoulder you are firing from, without sacrificing any attenuation.

Soft cushions, sized for extended wear.

The electronics

SordinHEAR2 sound system, with four audio profiles matching typical field situations. The large rubberized buttons remain operable while wearing gloves.

An AUX connector allows for the connection of an external source, such as a radio; a 3.5 mm mono cable is included.

Battery life

Two AAA batteries, up to 400 hours of continuous operation. An automatic shut-off after 4 hours prevents the battery from draining if left on, and a low battery warning triggers when approximately 40 hours remain.

Durability

Injection-molded polymers, IP67 rated: dustproof and waterproof. Adjustable size.

The attenuation value for this model is not provided by the manufacturer for this reference, and we will not make it up. If it is a deciding factor for your purchase, please contact us and we will request it.
