The Field version of the smoke grenade pouch, in PL Woodland camouflage treated for infrared. It accommodates M18-type models and similar formats. The flap closes with a hook-and-loop strap with a non-slip grip, its height is adjustable to fit grenades of different sizes, and an elastic cord with a one-handed locking slider stabilizes the contents. MOLLE/PALS mounting, drainage hole at the bottom. Field items, in PL Woodland camouflage, are NIR treated, also known as IRR: the fabrics and visible components are chosen to absorb, reflect, and transmit near-infrared radiation in the same way as undergrowth, which reduces the contrast of the silhouette under a night vision device. Each material is checked with a spectrophotometer in the laboratory and in the field.
