Optics
The XD (extra-low dispersion) glass eliminates most color fringing and improves resolution, contrast, and color fidelity. The BaK-4 roof prisms, with a straight light path, let more light through in a compact body. 6.5° field of view.
Construction
The magnesium bridge makes the binoculars lightweight, durable, and resistant to corrosion. The rubberized body is filled with nitrogen and sealed with O-rings: waterproof and fogproof. The screw-in eye cups can be adjusted for glasses wearers.
