Princeton Tec
Princeton Tec Charge Pro MPLS RBIW
Forty hours in color mode, compared to twenty-three for the Charge MPLS. This is what the CR123A battery brings to the Pro version, and it is the main reason for the price difference.
Four LEDs
One Maxbright white LED, and three 3mm Ultrabright LEDs - red, blue, and infrared.
The three modes
- Low color: wide beam, 6m range, 46 hours
- High color: 10m range, 40 hours
- High white: 55 lm, 30m range, 4.5 hours
Blue is used for map reading and tracking, red for preserving night vision, and infrared for working with night-vision goggles.
The flexible boom
The arm bends and stays in place: the light source is aimed once, and the head remains free to move.
What it can withstand
Impact-resistant, injection-molded polymer body. IPX7 rating: waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes.
One CR123A battery or its rechargeable equivalent. Operated by a rubberized side button.
