MaxTrax recovery boards, orange pair

A pair of traction boards to slide under the wheels when the vehicle gets stuck. The large cleats bite into the tire tread, providing the grip that sand, mud, or snow has taken away. The polymer nylon is intentionally flexible: a rigid board would break under the torque of a stuck 4x4, but this one flexes. The anti-UV treatment is just as important as the material, because recovery boards spend their life strapped to an exterior roof rack. The two boards nest into each other for storage, 1,150 x 330 mm when stacked, 6.8 kg per pair. Two straps included.
