Petzl e+LITE

A headlamp you don't use, and are glad to have. The e+LITE is an emergency lamp: it lives at the bottom of your bag and only makes itself known the day your main one fails.

Five modes, two colors

• Low white: 20 lumens, 13 m range, 9.5 h battery life
• High white: 40 lumens, 15 m range, 3.5 h battery life
• White strobe: 15 lumens, visible at 100 m, 95 hours
• Red: 2 lumens, visible at 100 m, 15 hours
• Red strobe: visible at 100 m, 70 hours

The battery life for signaling modes is measured in tens of hours: this is where the utility of an emergency lamp really counts.

Power supply

Two CR2032 batteries. They can be stored for years without draining, which is exactly what you want from a lamp that stays dormant.

What it can withstand

Injection-molded body made of impact-resistant polymer. Waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Operates from -30 to +60 °C.

Details that count

A lockable lever switch on top: it won't turn on by itself in your bag. A tilting mount to aim the beam. And a whistle integrated into the headband clip—in a distress situation, it carries further than your voice.
