Nightstick TAC-460XL Kit
A complete kit, with a light that detaches for handheld use. That is what the word "Kit" covers here: everything needed to mount it, operate it, and use it off the weapon.
What the set contains
- Picatinny rail adapter and its mount, factory-installed
- Remote gel-pad switch and its mount
- Cable management clip
A dangling remote switch cable is what gets caught on branches and slings: the clip is no mere detail.
The light
800 lumens and a 205 m beam throw, produced by an Xtreme Lumens LED and a deep parabolic reflector.
This type of reflector provides a penetrating beam while retaining a peripheral halo - which makes the light usable in close-quarters combat, where a purely concentrated beam blinds without showing anything to the sides.
The controls
Constant and momentary modes, via direct switches.
The body
CNC-machined 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, black anodized, with the other parts made of glass-reinforced polymer.
Checkering for grip, and a hexagonal anti-roll head: placed on a table or hood, it stays where you put it.
What it can withstand
IP67 rating: dustproof, waterproof up to 1 meter, and resistant to 2-meter drops. Resistant to impacts and chemicals.
CR123 batteries. For all long guns with Picatinny or Weaver rails.
