Midland G9 Pro Camo

The G9 Pro in forest attire. Same functions as the black version, with a camouflage pattern that makes it disappear against a vest or when placed on the ground.

One hundred and one total channels

• 69 LPD channels
• 32 PMR channels
• 38 CTCSS tones

CTCSS tones filter what you hear: the radio remains silent unless the received tone matches its own, even if another group is using the channel. With so many channels, finding a quiet frequency is not a problem.

Dual PTT button

Two transmit buttons instead of one. You can assign one to each monitored channel, or simply transmit with your left or right hand without changing your grip.

Features

• Scan of the frequency range
• Automatic squelch
• Battery indicator and power save mode
• Backlit display
• VOX, for voice-activated transmission without letting go of what you are holding
• Headset/speaker jack and belt clip

Power supply

Four rechargeable AAA batteries, or a dedicated battery pack. This is a real advantage over radios with proprietary batteries: when camping, you can just put in batteries found anywhere.

What the "Pro" changes

Larger screen, revised ergonomics, and reworked electronics compared to the original G9.

The PMR band can be used without a license or subscription.
