Four activated carbon discs for four-thousand and six-thousand liter bottles. They treat what passes through the membrane while remaining dissolved, primarily chlorine, then pesticides and tastes. Their lifespan is much shorter than that of the cartridge, which explains the batch: several are changed before touching the membrane.
