Klarus XT12GT Hunting Kit 4000K

What the kit contains

The filters are what really count: red and green are much less noticeable to most animals than white light, while blue makes tracks stand out on dark ground.

The light

CREE XHP35 HI D4 LED, with a color temperature of 4000 K. This neutral white renders colors much more faithfully than a 6500 K cool white: in the field, brown fur stays brown.

A useful clarification: the Turbo runtime includes the automatic power reduction. The ITS system monitors the temperature and reduces output to protect the LED—the flashlight does not maintain 1600 lumens for one hour and twelve minutes.

Power and charging

18GT-36 18650 3600 mAh lithium-ion battery, or a CR123A battery. The charger is integrated, with a magnetic connector that attaches without having to search for the port.

A colored indicator shows the charge status: flashing red below 10%, red below 30%, orange from 30 to 70%, green above that.

Controls

Dual tactical switch with mode memory and lockout, plus a tail switch. Everything can be operated with one hand, without looking.

The body

Anodized 6061-T6 aluminum, knurled surface. IPX8: submersion at 2 meters. 1 m drop resistance. The head features an aggressive strike bezel usable as a glass breaker.

Compatible with rail mounts, the TRS1 dual remote switch, and the Klarus signal wand.
