The HUSKY takes the LVL 7 and pushes it further, for those who work outdoors in freezing conditions. The 100g Climashield Apex insulation is a continuous sheet: it does not migrate, does not clump, and continues to keep warm even when wet. The ripstop nylon shell is treated with a hydrophobic coating that repels water and dirt without preventing vapor from escaping. Three hidden identification panels and the Quick Side Access system make it usable on duty, and it compresses enough to disappear into a bag.
