Aby Forest Axe 0.7
Shipping within 3 to 5 business days.
A hybrid forest axe, halfway between a camp hatchet and a felling axe. The edge is straighter and the grind is more linear than on a splitting axe, which makes it precise for cutting tasks. Below the head, a finger notch allows you to choke up for precision work. The handle is long and thin: the ergonomics limit the weight while providing leverage upon impact. It is the tool for those who build shelters as much as they cut wood.
Strengths
- Finger notch: move your hand up under the head to switch from a wide swing to a precise stroke
- Long and thin handle: power upon impact without adding bulk
- Straight edge: a linear grind, designed for cutting rather than splitting
