The Guardian Smallpack mounts directly to the back of the Guardian plate carrier, or can be worn as a standalone backpack with its detachable shoulder straps. Seven and a half liters are enough for a hydration bladder, a spare jacket, or a poncho liner. The interior is lined with hook-and-loop velcro for accessories, with an internal zippered pocket at the top and a modular webbing hook-and-loop panel lower down. The top flap unzips to reveal an attachment system, the sides feature G-hook compression straps, and the bottom bungee cord holds a jacket.
