The Field version of the Guardian front flap, in infrared-treated PL Woodland camouflage. It attaches to the plate carrier via two buckles and hook-and-loop strips, and its integrated pouch is divided into three sections calibrated for AR, AK47, and AK74 magazines, secured by a shock cord with non-slip tabs. The surface features a MOLLE/PALS system with six columns and three rows, with side loops woven with cord for additional gear. Field items in PL Woodland camouflage are NIR-treated, also known as IRR: the fabrics and visible components are chosen to absorb, reflect, and transmit near-infrared radiation in the same way as forest undergrowth, which reduces the silhouette's contrast under night vision devices. Every material is checked by spectrophotometer in the lab and in the field.
