There are three serious ways to carry your gear: on your back, over your shoulder, or on your hips. A backpack allows for heavy loads, a shoulder bag provides quick access, and a carrying belt combines both. On uneven terrain and for a long walk, this is the wisest solution: it does not disturb thermoregulation, distributes the load, and spares the spine, while keeping every item within reach. The Foxtrot Mk2 can be worn alone or with its functional shoulder straps, adjustable with hook-and-loop fasteners on the back. It includes a main compartment with sewn-in open bottle holders, a half-side belt with MOLLE/PALS points for modular pouches, and accepts 50 mm ALICE webbing pouches. A rolled poncho or a thin mat can be slipped under the top elastic or under the lower compression straps.
