On uneven terrain and during long hikes, it is the most sensible option: it does not interfere with thermoregulation, distributes the load, and spares the spine, while keeping everything within easy reach. The Foxtrot Mk2 can be worn on its own or with its functional shoulder straps, which are adjustable with hook-and-loop straps on the back. It features a main compartment with sewn-in open bottle holders, a half-belt with MOLLE/PALS webbing for modular pouches, and accepts 50 mm ALICE webbing pouches. A rolled poncho or thin mat can be slipped under the top elastic or under the lower compression straps.
