ESS URx Prescription Insert

One insert for two brands. This is the first corrective insert to switch from one brand to another: it fits a large part of the ESS range as well as Oakley ballistic models.

The principle

You have your optician correct the lenses of the insert, then the insert clips behind the protective shield. You keep your correction, without prescription glasses under the mask and without having to make a corrective shield for each model.

Where it mounts

For ESS: Crossbow, Crosshair, Suppressor, ICE, ICE NARO, Profile NVG, FlightPro, Profile TurboFan, FirePro-1971 and FirePro-1977.

For Oakley: SI Ballistic Goggle, Ballistic M-Frame 2.0 and Ballistic M-Frame 3.0.

Two sets of nose pads and mask adapters are provided, one for each brand.

Correction range

It accepts a wide range, up to +/- 11 diopters. Few inserts cover as much.

Approval

The nylon frame is approved by the US Army under APEL and MCEPS standards - the American military eye protection benchmarks.

Before ordering

Check that your protection is on the list above, and plan a visit to the optician: the insert is delivered without correction.
