This is a replacement lens, not a pair of goggles. You receive the lens alone, to be mounted on a frame you already own.

VLT 15%, the daytime lens

Only 15% of light passes through the lens. This is a significantly dark lens, designed for medium to strong light - and to be removed when the light fades.

A grey that doesn't lie about colors

The manufacturer describes it as having no influence on color perception. This is the property of a neutral grey: it reduces the amount of light without favoring any part of the spectrum. Colors are perceived at their true value, which is important when a color code needs to be read correctly.

This is what makes it the versatile daytime lens in the series, the one you leave mounted by default during the day.

All Striker series and all Striketeam series: Flight Deck, Land Ops, Vehicle Ops, Tactical XT, Striketeam XTO, Striketeam SJ, Striketeam WF and X-Tricator.

Thickness and treatment

High-strength polycarbonate of 2.6 mm - thicker than the brand's goggle lenses, which are 2.4 mm.

ClearZone FlowCoat treatment: anti-scratch on the outside, anti-fog on the inside. The two surfaces do not experience the same aggressions, so they do not receive the same treatment. 100% UVA and UVB filtration.

The three lenses in the series, by VLT

Clear - VLT 90: indoor and night, no influence on contrast or colors.
Hi-Def Yellow - VLT 85: flat to very low light, high contrast lens.
Smoke - VLT 15: medium to strong light, versatile daytime use.

VLT is the percentage of light that passes through the lens: the lower it is, the darker the lens.
