ESS
ESS Crosshair ONE Clear
The clear lens is the one to keep when there is insufficient light. Full ballistic protection, without losing a single percent of scene brightness.
When clear is essential
At night, indoors, in the workshop, or under cover. In these conditions, even a slight tint becomes a handicap: it removes information instead of providing it. The clear lens protects without sacrificing visibility.
It's also the lens that remains mounted by default when you don't know what's coming next.
Clear or tinted
The Crosshair ONE Smoke version comes with a smoke gray lens, at the same price, for the opposite use: bright daylight and high luminosity.
The 3-lens kit includes both and adds the yellow contrast lens for flat light conditions.
The ToughZone coating
Scratch-resistant on both sides. On a clear lens, this is particularly useful: the slightest scratch is more visible than on a tinted lens, which partially masks it.
Note: ToughZone is a durability treatment, not an anti-fog. For anti-fog, see the Crossbow range and its ClearZone FlowCoat.
The DedBolt lock
Lens release with a single gesture, locking under impact.
An evolutive platform
Compatible with Crossbow lenses and ultra-thin Suppressor frames, as well as several ESS corrective inserts.
The lens
High-strength 2.4 mm polycarbonate, distortion-free ESSOPTICS, 100% UVA and UVB.
Standards declared by the manufacturer
Exceeds ANSI Z87.1 optical requirements and U.S. military impact requirements.
