ESS Crossbow Replacement Lens

This is a replacement lens, not a pair of glasses. You receive the lens only, to be mounted on a frame you already own.

Five Tints, the Widest Range

Clear - for night, indoors, or overcast conditions.
Smoke Grey - for bright daylight, neutral grey without color distortion.
Yellow - for flat light. A contrast-enhancing lens that hardly darkens.
Copper - warm tint, increased separation in greens and browns.
Bronze - the tint exclusively offered by this replacement lens in the range.

Two Declared Standards, Not One

This lens declares ANSI Z87.1-2020 and the U.S. military specification MIL-PRF-32432A.

This is the difference from the slightly less expensive Crosshair replacement lens, whose manufacturer's specification sheet only cites the ANSI standard - even though both are stated to be compatible with the same frames.

Three Possible Frames

Crossbow, Crosshair, and Suppressor. A lens purchased here is not locked to a single pair.

Manufacturing

High-strength, unbreakable 2.4 mm polycarbonate, extruded, cut, and then thermoformed. The surfaces receive a hard anti-scratch and anti-reflective coating.

ESS modular technology allows for tool-free changing: this is the whole point of buying a lens rather than a second complete pair.
