ESS
ESS CrossBlade Polarized Mirror Green
A polarized lens, not a simple tinted lens. The difference is not a question of intensity but of nature: the polarizing lens selectively cuts reflected light instead of darkening everything.
What polarization eliminates
Light reflected by a flat surface - water, glass, hood, wet road - is polarized. A polarizing filter eliminates it without affecting the rest of the scene. The white veil disappears, and what you were trying to see behind it becomes visible again.
A classic smoked lens, on the other hand, darkens the reflection and the target in the same proportions: the contrast does not improve.
Color rendition
The green tint absorbs the spectrum evenly and minimizes reflections. Colors are perceived at their true value rather than leaning towards a dominant hue.
Standard frame or NARO frame
This reference mounts the polarized lens on the standard frame. The CrossBlade Naro Polarized Mirror Green version offers exactly the same lens on the NARO frame, at the same price.
The difference lies solely in the geometry - your morphology and what you wear on your head decide, not the technical sheet.
Lens treatment
ClearZone applies two different treatments, one for each side: an anti-fog on the inside, an anti-scratch on the outside. The two sides do not undergo the same aggressions, they do not receive the same treatment.
ESSOPTICS corrects distortion across the entire field of vision, including the edges of a curved lens.
