ESS
ESS CrossBlade One Naro Laser LPL-5
The NARO format, low and open. This geometry is designed to fit under a helmet or cap without creating pressure points - and it features the wide-coverage laser lens.
Two wavelength ranges
Green 532 nm and blue-violet 405 to 445 nm. The protection is identical to that of the standard format version: it's the shape that changes, not the treatment.
What this protection covers, and what it does not cover
The treatment reduces exposure to the wavelengths indicated above. It is not a universal laser protection: a wavelength different from those announced is not covered.
For a defined laser risk in an industrial or medical environment, dedicated laser protection standards apply, and not the ballistic and industrial standards cited here.
NARO or standard
The CrossBlade One STD Laser version offers exactly the same laser lens in the standard geometry, at the same price. The choice is based on morphology and what you wear on your head, not on performance.
The NARO frame offers enough tension to be worn alone, while remaining discreet enough to slip under headwear.
Contents
Black CrossBlade frame, NARO laser lens, black NARO nose pad, and microfiber pouch.
Lens treatment
ClearZone Dual Flow Coated: two distinct treatments, one per side. On the inside, an anti-fog; on the outside, an anti-scratch that withstands field aggressions. The two sides do not experience the same constraints, they do not receive the same treatment.
ESSOPTICS corrects distortion across the entire field of vision - which is important on a curved lens, where poorly controlled optics distort the edges.
Interchangeable lenses
Compatible with Crossbow, Crosshair, and Suppressor frames.
Standards declared by the manufacturer
MIL-PRF-32432A and ANSI Z87.1-2015.
