ESS CrossBlade Naro Replacement Lens Laser LPL-5
This is a replacement lens, not a pair of glasses. You will receive the lens only, to be mounted on a frame you already own – please check this before ordering.
Two Wavelength Ranges
The treatment reduces exposure to green pointers and designators at 532 nm, as well as blue-violet lasers from 405 to 445 nm. This is the broad range coverage.
This is not universal laser protection: wavelengths outside these ranges are not covered. For a defined laser risk in an industrial or medical environment, dedicated laser protection standards apply.
On which frames it mounts
NARO geometry. Compatible with ESS Crossbow, Crosshair, and Suppressor frames.
ESS modular technology allows for tool-free lens changes: this is the whole point of buying a lens rather than a second complete pair.
Manufacturing
High-strength 2.4 mm unbreakable polycarbonate, extruded, cut, then thermoformed. The surfaces then receive a hard anti-scratch and anti-glare coating.
Tint
Red tinted lens – this is the characteristic color of laser protective lenses, a direct consequence of the selective filtering they apply.
Standard declared by the manufacturer
ANSI Z87.1-2020, with 100% UVA and UVB filtration.
