Three lenses, including a 532 nm laser protection lens. This is the complete CrossBlade kit in its green version only.

The Wavelength Covered

The laser lens in this kit reduces exposure to green pointers and designators at 532 nm - by far the most common.

If your exposure also includes blue-violet lasers from 405 to 445 nm, you should look at the CrossBlade STD 3LS version: the same three-lens kit, but with a laser lens that covers both ranges. The price difference between the two is small considering the difference in coverage.

What This Protection Covers, and What It Does Not

The treatment reduces exposure to the wavelengths indicated above. It is not universal laser protection: a wavelength different from those advertised is not covered.

For a defined laser risk in an industrial or medical environment, dedicated laser protection standards apply, not the ballistic and industrial standards cited here.

The Tri-Tech Fit Frame

A firm hold without pressure points. Air circulation is not restricted, which limits fogging at the source rather than downstream.

Lens Treatment

ClearZone Dual Flow Coated: two distinct treatments, one for each side. On the inside, an anti-fog coating; on the outside, an anti-scratch coating that withstands field aggressions. The two sides are not subjected to the same stresses, so they do not receive the same treatment.

ESSOPTICS corrects distortion across the entire field of vision - which is important for a curved lens, where poorly controlled optics distort the edges.
