ESS CDI Max Lenses

These are lenses only, not a pair of glasses. They mount onto a CDI MAX frame you already own.

Please note: CDI and CDI MAX do not share lenses

Both series have almost the same name and the same lateral exchange system, but their lenses are not interchangeable:

CDI - 2.2 mm lenses.
CDI MAX - 2.4 mm lenses, wider and more curved.

Check the exact marking engraved on your frame before ordering.

Four tints available

Clear - night, indoor, overcast. Protection without loss of brightness.
Smoke - full daylight. A neutral grey that does not alter colors.
Yellow - flat light. A contrast lens: it barely darkens, it separates planes.
Copper - warm tint, which retains more separation in greens and browns than a neutral grey.

A mirror silver version is available separately in the range, for those who also want to conceal their eyes.

Lateral exchange

Lenses can be changed from the side, without tools. You can adapt the tint to the current light instead of carrying two pairs.

The material

High-strength 2.4 mm polycarbonate, specific to the CDI MAX series. This is one tenth of a millimeter thicker than CDI lenses - and that's precisely what makes them non-interchangeable.
