ESS Permanent contract
The lateral exchange system is what defines the CDI. The lenses can be changed from the side, without tools, to adapt to the light conditions of the moment.
Three shades available
Clear for night and indoors, smoke for full daylight, Hi-Def yellow for flat light – dawn, fog, overcast – where contrast is lacking.
SmartTension hinged temples
This is the mechanical detail of this frame: a cam hinge that adjusts the tension of the temples. The tightness can be adapted to the shape of the head instead of being subjected to a single tension.
What holds when you sweat
Temples and nose bridge made of non-slip rubber, whose grip is maintained even when wet. On a pair that slips as soon as you exert yourself, this is what makes the difference between wearing and readjusting your glasses.
The frame
Nylon, extremely lightweight and virtually indestructible. Medium fit, black frame.
The lenses
High-strength 2.2 mm polycarbonate, interchangeable, distortion-free optics, 100% UVA and UVB filtration, ToughZone anti-scratch coating applied on both sides.
Note: ToughZone is a durability treatment, not an anti-fog. For anti-fog, you need to look at the Crossbow range and its ClearZone FlowCoat.
CDI or CDI Max
The CDI Max uses the same lateral exchange system with a wider frame, 2.4 mm lenses and a Medium-Large fit. Its manufacturer's sheet also declares MIL-PRF-31013, ANSI Z87.1-2010, CE EN 166 and OSHA.
Standard declared by the manufacturer
The manufacturer advertises high-strength lenses according to US military specifications, without citing a standard number for this reference.
